In the book, for the first time in the history of the Russian state and the USSR, the veil of secrecy is lifted from some aspects of military counterintelligence activities. Portraits of famous military leaders and political figures are given from a new perspective. The author paints a broad picture of a large historical period of which he himself was a participant.
