Ilya Boretsky, the owner of a country estate, invited the group “Mermaids” to a New Year’s costume party. A lover of Slavic traditions, he dreamed of holding “winter rusalia” - a pagan rite, which, according to legend, should appease the patron of fire, Firebog. Among other guests, he invited his friend Yegor Vishnyakov to the holiday, who had an inexplicable passion for the lead singer of “The Mermaids” Leia. They met in a nightclub, but the girl ran away, and from then on Vishnyakov began to be haunted by nightmares... The guests did not yet know that not all of them were destined to survive this New Year's Eve. And the reason for this is the magical shrine of the Magi - the golden idol of the Fire God...
