This hotel has long become a legend. Its walls have seen a lot, and especially room 184 - it was there that the dead body of the hotel’s first owner, Khariton Prasagov, was found more than a hundred years ago. Since then, tragic events have occurred in this room with sad regularity: in 1912, a famous opera singer was killed there, in 1940, the mistress of a famous writer, and, finally, in 1977, the daughter of a high-ranking official... These days, the hotel stood in disrepair , until it was acquired by oligarch Mikhail Prasagov, Khariton’s great-grandson.
