Isadora Duncan is a world-famous American dancer, one of the founders of modern dance, and has always been popular in Russia. Here she lived in 1921–1924, organized her own studio, and was married to Sergei Yesenin. Despite her lifetime fame, Isadora Duncan's personal life was full of tragic events. This is described in her memoirs “Dance of the Future” and “My Life”. The second part of the book contains the memoirs of I. I. Schneider “Meetings with Yesenin”, which reflect the years of the dancer’s life and work in our country. The book is addressed to the widest circle of readers.
