[[MACHINE TRANSLATION]]This volume is by far the largest and most complete version of March of the Titans ever published. It contains a large number of new sections, new images and updated text. The sequential order of the chapters remains the same, with one exception: the prologue now brings together a basic explanation of race as a taxonomic concept and discusses the rise and fall of civilizations, unlike previous editions in which it was buried in chapter nine. The idea for writing this book came from browsing historical section of the Jagger Library at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, in 1983. While doing some unrelated research, I accidentally came across a book about the history of the Chinese people. .Intrigued, I continued to explore this section of the library. I found rows of books devoted to the history of the Japanese, the black race, the Incas, the Aztecs, the Australian Aborigines, the Arabs, the Native Americans, the Polynesians - in fact there was a history of every people and every race on earth. - except, to my great surprise, the white race. This lack of history of the white people of the world continues to this day: and this book is written to correct this imbalance. Because it is the history of a particular race and not of any particular country, its narrative follows several continents and centuries, not being limited to any one geographical region. I have always felt that the purpose of studying history is not to memorize some dates and facts, but rather in searching for and discovering the forces that cause the results that we see before our eyes as historical events. History has lost its value due to the efforts of scientists compiling lists of meaningless dates and names, expecting everyone else to be as interested in their lists as and themselves. The proper study of history is indeed an extremely exciting field of endeavor - the exploits and tribulations detailed in this book may convince skeptics of this! More importantly, history does contain lessons - sobering, with enormous consequences. As this book will show, it raises questions that past civilizations have faced and that confront modern society - how we answer them will determine whether our society survives or fades away like the old ones.
