The book includes two journalistic works of H. Wells that are surprisingly relevant today - “The New World Order” (1940) and “Reason at the End of a Tight Bridle” (1945). Writer and thinker who met with the rulers of the world - V.I. Lenin, I.V. Stalin, F.D. Roosevelt - and horrified by a new world war, Wells decided to give humanity his liberal recipe for salvation and prosperity, as well as to protect the world from fatal mistakes. This recipe, which emphasizes the elimination of state sovereignties, fits perfectly into the program of the current “Great Reset”, developed by the “masters of money” and recently announced by Klaus Schwab, President of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Using the example of the completely sincere, “classical” intellectual Wells, the reader will see the deep specificity of the Western mentality, whose good intentions pave the way not to a “bright future.” And Wells himself, in his last work, “Reason at the End of a Tight Bridle,” foresaw the destruction of the world, not prosperity, and even asked for the following epitaph: “I warned you! You damned fools!” With forewords by Professor Valentin Katasonov.
