Acquaintance with the history of specific companies is very useful for everyone who works or plans to work in business. The Russian reader really lacks good books about the formation and development (and sometimes about the death) of Russian companies. Therefore, Sergei Fomenkov’s book is a gift to everyone who is interested in the complex and contradictory history of Russian business. It is written in the first person and very frankly. Perhaps not all of the author’s judgments will seem unambiguous to the reader, but this is also the merit of the book. It’s wonderful when reading turns into dialogue!
