The book tells about a fictional future - up to the next ice age. With some stretch, it can be called science fiction, despite the fact that there is not much science fiction in it. Formally, the book belongs to the “post-apocalypse” genre, or simply post-apocalypse. A prosperous civilization, languishing in the comfort created by previous generations, collapsed overnight due to seemingly sheer nonsense. Of course, humanity was reborn (as the name suggests), but with a long delay. The apocalypse itself is just a plot background, although it shows a completely realistic version of the possible collapse of the globalized world. The book is mainly focused on a small company of its heroes - traveling, searching, investigating, escaping; cheerful, active and happy in their own way in any situation.
