Boys don't keep diaries. But fifth-grader Bert breaks this unwritten rule and writes down the events of his life in a diary. And he has a very rich one. Of course, it may well be that to some Bert’s problems and experiences will seem worthless. Just think, buy a gift for a girl! Just think, you need to wear glasses! Just think, I don’t like my own name! If you think this way, you have never been a boy of 11 and never fallen in love. But the Swedish writers Søren Olsson and Anders Jacobsson were there and remember this difficult but wonderful time well. They talked about this very funny in their book.7 The book was published with the financial support of the Regional Library Office of West Götaland.
