Ushabti literally means small figurines that the Egyptians used to place in a large box along with the sarcophagus of a rich deceased and his utensils in the burial chamber. These were figures of servants who, according to the ideas of ancient people, were supposed to do all the necessary work for their master in another world. In a figurative sense, Ushabti is a person whose consciousness is subordinated to the will of another. The heroine of the novel found out about this too late. The fact that the secrets of influencing the human psyche and sexuality, hidden in tantra, one of the mystical branches of yoga, are not always used with good intentions, has remained a mystery for many. This is the third volume in the Ushabti cycle.
