This is probably the strangest night in the life of the young pathologist Andrei - his charges inexplicably left the hospital morgue! They walk somewhere in an even formation along the streets of a small village, ignore living people, help each other and for some reason smell pleasant. Together with the hospital security guard Sinichkin, Andrei is trying to return the corpses to their place, because in the morning they should be picked up by relatives and friends of the deceased.
