Особливо вражає розвиток персонажів та їхні стосунки, які змінюються під впливом подій, що відбуваються в шотландській глушині. Книга ставить важливі питання про відповідальність, прощення та наслідки своїх дій. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить глибокі, емоційні історії з несподіваними поворотами сюжету. Вона залишає по собі слід і змушує задуматися про те, що насправді важливо в житті.
