Linguist Andy Dennison is recruited to work on the Samhain project. He is taken to a top-secret facility in the desert, but little does he know that he has been hired as a translator to communicate with an ancient demon discovered in a capsule deep underground over a hundred years ago. A ragtag group of scientists, theologians and military personnel brought together in the project " Samhain,” is trying to find out whether this creature is really the same Satan, mentioned with an unkind word in the Bible and so frightening the religious society. Many factors point to its supernatural origin. The appearance of the demon and the ability to heal and revive living beings are the main ones. But they had no idea what hidden abilities the creature still possessed. Only when it turns them against people will it be too late...Soon they will have to fight not only for their lives, but also for the existence of all humanity, when Bab - this is the name given to the monster - decides to play the game by his own rules.
