Sergei Nikolaevich Sinyakin (05/18/1953, Proletary village, Novgorod region) is a famous Russian science fiction writer. Member of the Russian Federation since 2001. Author of 16 books of fantastic and realistic genres. His stories and novellas were published in the magazines “Our Contemporary”, “If”, “Noon. XXI century”, “Threshold” (Kirovograd), “Humpty Dumpty” and “Panorama” (Volgograd), translated into Polish and Estonian, his author’s book “Mistress of the Seas” (2005) was published in Poland. Compiler of the anthology of Volgograd science fiction “Circle of Quintus” (2008). Awarded the “Sigma-F” award (2000), the A. and B. Strugatsky award (2000), two “Bronze Snail” awards (2000, 2002), “Marble Sphinx” ", awards from the magazines "Father's Land" and "Noon. XXI Century" for the best publications of the year (2010). Laureate of the All-Russian Literary Prize "Stalingrad" (2006) and the Volgograd State Prize in Literature for 2010.
