The Adachi Art Museum (Japan) is famous not only for the fact that it displays about 1,500 outstanding works of national painting of the 20th century, but also for its luxurious gardens. “A garden, in other words, is a scroll with a landscape painted on it by life itself,” museum founder Adachi Zenko liked to say. In total, there are six magnificent gardens on the territory of the museum, in which visitors are prohibited from walking; you can only contemplate them from specially built pavilions.
