Hungarian researcher Zsuzsa Heteny has been studying the work of Vladimir Nabokov for more than twenty years, and this book is a kind of intermediate result of her work. The book was originally written in Russian – which resonates with the research subject’s own creative method. The author, in an attempt to open “some closed drawers of the large desk of Nabokov’s Work,” studies in detail the erotic motifs in the writer’s texts, the peculiarities of his language, the connections between Nabokov and his predecessors and contemporaries. The publishing layout of the book is saved in PDF A4 format.
