The presented material is focused on the personality of the blessed elder nun Alipia (Avdeeva) and consists of testimonies of clergy, monastics and laity, telling about the life, activities and spiritual exploits of Mother Alipia. The main content of these stories is a presentation of events that happened both during her life and after her death. The memoirs are preceded by a preface, in which, in addition to presenting biographical data about the nun Alipia, an attempt is made to analytically examine her spiritual experience from the standpoint of church history, Orthodox hagiography, holy - paternal spiritual and mystical tradition. The book presents facts of numerous miracles that were not included in the first biography of the Elder, as well as many testimonies of her posthumous benefits, which are considered as a consequence of many years of rigorous ascetic work, expressed in feats of strict fasting, prayer, non-covetousness, depriving yourself of sleep, wearing chains. Love and mercy formed the main core of the blessed one’s life. Contains a large number of instructive stories telling about man’s various paths to God.
