Just one punch in the face of a rich scumbag radically changes the life of the main character Alexander Tikhy, a former pupil of an orphanage. Alexander is accused of premeditated murder. The sentence is harsh and unfair, but fate again presents another twist; he is offered to be a lab rat in a secret scientific laboratory. Scientists, confident that they have created a time machine, are trying to send a person several hundred years ago. Alexander becomes another displaced person, only instead of 15th century Rus', he is transported to another world.
