Brenda is determination itself. She reads complex books on medicine, and her idol is Leonardo da Vinci. But somehow (without understanding how) she boasted in front of her cousin and, in order not to fall face down in the mud, she must secretly take (steal?) the ballet shoes of one great ballerina, which are kept in a treasured box at school. And then, next to the “rented” pointe shoes, there was a little dog with very sharp teeth. Brenda feels shame, fear, and helplessness. How to confess? How to return the irrevocable?
