Christopher Renshaw Bunch was born in Fresno, California in 1943. American writer - author of serial novels and film scripts. Better known as Chris Bunch. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, he joined the army, underwent special training, fought in Vietnam as a patrol commander and at the same time was a front-line correspondent for Stars & Stripes magazine. The realities of Vietnamese everyday life pushed K. Bunch to an anti-war position. After the war, he edited samizdat rock magazines and wrote for any publication that would pay for the work, from tabloids to Look and Rolling Stone magazines, as well as for television. The success of the series "Stan" and "Antero", written by Bunch in collaboration with Allan Cole, allowed Chris to devote himself entirely to writing. However, in 1995, the author duo broke up and K. Bunch began writing science fiction alone. In addition to fiction books, Bunch also wrote scripts for television series and programs. On July 4, 2005, after a long illness, he died at the age of 62.
