World - this is what the descendants of earthlings call the planet that has become their new homeland and its only continent, stretching from pole to pole, to which the Island clings to the side like a tiny cockroach. People live, work, fight. They love and hate. The era of steam engines will soon be replaced by the age of electricity and gasoline engines. In the history of the World, an ominous parallel will begin to be traced with the once collapsed earthly civilization. Is it possible to turn away from the path destined by History? Will we resolve the eternal question: about the line separating active “good with fists” from evil? And then... what the consequences of the long-standing eugenic experiment led to: the fate of a superman among ordinary people. The novel ends mid-sentence: the war tormenting the World has stopped, each of the heroes keeps hopes for the best in their souls. Will they be justified? The future will tell.
