American Army Captain Zach Mercer was captured by the Cheyenne Indians. He guesses what kind of torment awaits him when the Cheyens celebrate another victory over the pale-faces around the fire. The women and children of the tribe gather to gaze at the future victim. His attention is attracted by a beautiful Indian woman with charming gray eyes. She tries to behave towards the captive as cruelly and mercilessly as her fellow tribesmen. Hating and despising herself for an inexplicable act, Rain Tear declares the captive her slave, thereby saving him from torment and saving his life. Captain Zach Mercer's life is saved, but his heart is captured.
