Ursula Le Guin is a classic of modern science fiction and a star of world literature, winner of many prestigious awards (including a nine-time Hugo and six-time Nebula winner), author of Earthsea and the Hain Cycle. One of the pillars of the so-called soft, humanitarian fiction, Le Guin paid great attention to issues of sociology and psychology, intercultural conflicts, anthropology and mythology.
