Книга "Прагнення до щастя" занурює читача в атмосферу післявоєнного Нью-Йорка, де на фоні святкування Дня подяки розгортається глибока та емоційна історія. Автор майстерно передає контраст між оптимізмом, який панує в місті, і тими особистими викликами, з якими стикаються герої. Зустріч між Сарою та Джеком стає каталізатором для роздумів про вірність, моральні цінності та наслідки вибору, який може змінити життя. Персонажі прописані дуже детально, і їхні переживання викликають співчуття та розуміння. Книга змушує задуматися про те, що щастя часто є результатом складних рішень і випадковостей, які формують наше життя. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто цінує глибокі емоційні історії та хоче поринути в атмосферу історичного Нью-Йорка.
