The book is a practical and reference guide and is intended for self-study and preparation for work in the new version of the most popular and powerful universal design environment AutoCAD 2008, developed by Autodesk. The publication provides general information about the system, discusses the user interface in detail, and describes the tools creating, editing and designing drawings, principles of three-dimensional modeling, including obtaining realistic images, as well as hard copies of the drawing. The book is recommended for students of technical and design specialties. The work was carried out under the priority national project “Education” within the framework of the innovative educational program of the Moscow State Institute of Electronic Technology (Technical University).
