Dinosaurs weren't going to go extinct; if asked, they would probably say that they were going to live forever. If you look at it correctly, you won't find any difference between humans and dinosaurs. Birth, growing up, reproducing and dying are common to all living beings. Thus, paleontologist Lesya, renegade lawyer Nat, and museum employee Elizabeth are not much different from tyrannosaurs and archeopteryxes. Cruelty in passing, the hardships of survival, vague loyalties, a love triangle, children, routine. Even suicide will not break you out of the vicious circle, will not save you from the painful search for meaning. And the dinosaurs are extinct. Maybe they died out of boredom.
