Until recently, the young writer Julien Azoulay could call himself a happy man. Everything changed after the death of his wife Hélène: once open and sociable, Julien became withdrawn into himself. Neither his little son, nor his friends, nor his publisher can reawaken his interest in life again. And only letters to his still beloved wife, which Julien carries to the cemetery, give him the opportunity to pour out his sadness. But one day the letters disappear, and instead of them Julien discovers a stone heart. Is this a sign from above or someone's cruel joke?
