I do not advise biologists to read this book, because it is unlikely that I will be able to surprise you with anything. I do not recommend reading it to seriously minded people who only accept popular science publications and biology textbooks. I don't think it will appeal to old maids or ladies who treat sex as a duty. It should not be read by young people who have only had one or two sexual partners (for now it is better for you to continue to believe in the reasonable, good, eternal). Some men will probably take offense at being compared to roosters or other birds, animals and insects. But if you do not belong to any of the listed categories, read and smile - then next time you will think very seriously before going hunting or scaring a stray dog.
