Vladimir Karpovich Zheleznikov (1925–2015) – writer, film playwright, author of the famous story “Scarecrow”, on which the film of the same name was based. The story about the restless boy Borya was written in 1962. Later, a film was made based on it called “The Eccentric from the Fifth “B”” (1972). Fifth-grader Borya Zbanduto, the main character, is a rogue and a mischief-maker. One day he is appointed as a first grade counselor, and the boy’s life changes dramatically. Dealing with first-graders is a difficult and responsible task! And what kind of responsibility is there if you want to play football and take a walk with the girl...
