Vladimir Karpovich Zheleznikov (1925–2015) – writer, film playwright, author of the famous story “Scarecrow”, on which the film of the same name was based. The story about the restless boy Borya was written in 1962. Later, a film was made based on it called “The Eccentric from the Fifth “B”” (1972). Fifth-grader Borya Zbanduto, the main character, is a rogue and a mischief-maker. One day he is appointed as a first grade counselor, and the boy’s life changes dramatically. Dealing with first-graders is a difficult and responsible task! And what kind of responsibility is there if you want to play football and take a walk with the girl... But soon Borya notices that these stupid little guys take up too much space in his head. This is where the fun begins... Illustrations for Anna Vlasova's story are published for the first time. For primary school age.
