Eduard Streltsov is a legend of Soviet sports. It is with his name that the main political injustice in the history of domestic football is associated, and many still wonder: “What if..?” He was a brilliant player, a real phenomenon, who at the age of 18 became the top scorer of the USSR championship and the main striker of the national team. The 1958 World Championship could have become Streltsov's benefit on the international stage, if not for further tragic events.
