Spring is raging outside, and it's time to start some spring cleaning. But here’s the bad luck - the housekeepers whom Ellie invites are dying like flies, and not by their own death. To stop the decline of the labor force in an English village, the mistress of a small but very real castle is forced to infiltrate the ranks of the housekeepers and find out who is killing poor women and why. And this is not so easy to do, since there are more than enough suspects - the patriarchal English village of Chitterton Fells was invaded by strangers who decided to move to these parts forever. A little man with a funny name, a suspicious old maid, strange dog-loving sisters - finding the killer is not so easy. And don’t forget about the villagers either. As you know, every English family has its own skeleton in the closet. This means that in order to expose the villain and stop the murders, you need to get into this very closet. And the most convenient way to do this is for the cleaning lady, to whom no one pays attention. Forgetting about her status as the owner of the castle, Ellie puts on a robe and, armed with a mop, begins the hunt for the killer.
