Shortly before the end of the First Crusade, the Holy Order of the Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon, better known as the Order of the Templars, was created within the Church. The days when knights guarded the approaches to the Holy City are a thing of the past, and it was believed that the order ceased to exist in the 14th century, after the execution of the Grand Master. However, the Templars retained the bonds of sacred brotherhood and literally rose from the ashes to once again confront the dark forces .The war, ready to break out between Good and Evil, threatens to end in a truly universal catastrophe. Only the Templar knight Cade Williams, who has the ability to penetrate the world of the dead, can prevent it.
