In provincial Wingroden there is nothing interesting except a gas station, a quarry lake and the beautiful hairdresser Anna. 16-year-old Ben is the youngest of all the local residents; the rest are old enough to be his father or grandfather. Ben looks after his old grandfather, tends to the garden and fixes old cars. To generate interest in Wingroden, one of the residents begins to spread rumors about UFOs. Suddenly a girl appears with a camera. Maybe the plan will work? But the UFO model flies away, and the police and the press come to the town to investigate the murder case. At the same time, it stands out that the girl is not a journalist and Ben is in love with her.
