Based on extensive historical, ethnographic and natural science material, the authors offer their vision of the East Slavic pagan calendar through the prism of the traditional worldview as a whole. This makes it possible, while maintaining a scientific approach, to rethink the annual circle. Particular attention is paid to understanding the significance of calendar events for the psychological and psychophysical state of a modern person, primarily a city dweller.
