This is not the merit of Irina Khakamada’s book. And the fact is that it is interesting to read. And those who are not indifferent to politics, and those who do not care about it. There are such women - with fabulous luck. They, too, from the December forest, instead of obediently freezing and being eaten, impudently return with snowdrops, a groom, a chest with a dowry and an honorary escort of seven heroes. Wherever they turn, fate immediately rolls a carpet under their feet. They do not climb the career ladder, paying for the rise with frigidity, shortness of breath and misanthropy. At their service are high-speed crystal elevators: immediately - whack! - and already at the top. Yesterday she is a businessman, today she is a deputy, tomorrow she is a minister, and always a happy mother and wife. Looking at their image on the screen or in a magazine and comparing it with your own reflection in the mirror, you want to stalk one of them in a dark alley and gently but convincingly ask: how does she do it all? No one was watching for Irina Khakamada. She voluntarily sat down and wrote this book in which she shared everything she could share.
