Роман «Гертруда» став для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі літератури. Гессе майстерно зображує внутрішню боротьбу молодого композитора, який намагається знайти свій шлях у мистецтві, балансуючи між розумом і стихійністю. Ця книга не лише про музику, а й про глибокі філософські питання, які стосуються кожного з нас: що таке мистецтво, чи може воно бути справжнім, якщо за ним стоїть самозречення?
