This book is dedicated to the history of the exact sciences. It contains information about one hundred famous mathematicians, physicists, and astronomers. Although not the first, Hellas became one of the most powerful centers of ancient science. It was there that the biographical genre was born. And that is why it was among the Greeks that we began to look for our first heroes. Then we moved to the East, which picked up the scientific baton during the Middle Ages. And they returned to Europe again at the beginning of the Renaissance. When talking about our heroes, we tried to focus on biographical information and create portraits of people of science.
