Six days of travel through forests, fields, clay roads. 150 kilometers. Rise at two o'clock in the morning. Leaving at three in the morning. From June 3 to 6, the Velikoretsk religious procession takes place on Vyatka land, which attracts people from all over Russia and from abroad. They go in both rain and heat. They go with prayer. At the beginning of the procession is the revered image of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. And so every year the religious procession opens the northern summer for more than six centuries. What motivates people to accomplish this feat? Let the “heroes of the notes” answer themselves. All the wonderful stories are real, told by pilgrims whom I had the opportunity to meet during the years of walking to the Great. Let's go with them again...
