In this book, dedicated to the memory of her father, Minsk resident Anisim Peterburtsev, Tatyana Maistrenko goes through the path of his life - from 1939 to 1945 - so typical for people of that generation. Here are the fates of his relatives, and the story of those who fought alongside him. The sources for writing the book were his father’s memoirs, as well as documents from museums in Smolensk and the Smolensk region.
