Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям! Третя частина пригод Соклея та Менедема вражає своєю динамічністю та захоплюючим сюжетом. Автор майстерно поєднує історичні факти з вигадкою, що робить читання не лише цікавим, але й пізнавальним. Я був вражений описами Фінікії та Юдеї, які перенесли мене в давні часи, дозволяючи відчути атмосферу тих епох. Легка мова та гумор, притаманні стилю Тертлдава, роблять книгу легкою для сприйняття, а пригоди героїв тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами пригод, адже вона не лише розважає, але й розширює горизонти знань про давні цивілізації.
