The main character of the novel is an ordinary young man. You could say: one of us, nothing particularly remarkable. He managed to fight in a hot spot and is currently engaged in small business. His life is exactly the same as that of the vast majority of our citizens. However, the hero’s life begins to change dramatically when he moves into a two-room apartment in a pre-war building. The fact is that the previous owner of the apartment, who was actively involved in the occult, managed to “break through” in this very dwelling a certain “tunnel” to the other world... In addition to this initial plot, many more minor lines are intertwined in the novel. So, for example, the main character got a “bad apartment” as a result of some criminal scams and outright “set-ups”. From otherworldly creatures, the guy suddenly learns about his past life, when he was a medieval knight, and about his former lover, who is still waiting to meet him. Real life begins to closely mix with mysticism, the Middle Ages, some kind of nonsense and the like. Well, the ending of the novel, take my word for it, will be completely unpredictable. Overall, this is a must read.
