The book is dedicated to the history of the Polish diaspora in Western Siberia during one of the turning points in the country's history. The author analyzes the main approaches to the study of the Polish diaspora in Siberia. The work is a comprehensive study of the history of the Polish diaspora in Western Siberia, based on materials from a large number of sources. The history of migrations of Poles to Siberia, the composition of the Polish diaspora and the contribution of Poles to the development of the region are explored. Particular attention is paid to the contribution of Poles to the development of entrepreneurship. The main forms of adaptation of Poles in Siberia are shown. An analysis of sources shows that the Poles took an active part in the socio-political life of the region. The author makes an attempt to determine the place of the Polish diaspora in the cultural history of Western Siberia. Newly discovered archival and published data led to the conclusion that Poles played an important role in the development of education, architecture and health care. The monograph is addressed to historians, teachers, graduate students and everyone interested in the history of Russia.
