Throughout the history of mankind, edged weapons have been an integral element of a warrior's weapons. Even with the advent and development of firearms, the role of swords, sabers, and knives in combat remained significant for a long time. This was the case at the beginning of that era, which is usually counted from the October Revolution of 1917 and called Soviet.
