This book describes various aspects of Sir Winston Churchill's political activities related to Jews and Zionism. Before the Second World War, Churchill supported the idea of founding a Jewish state in Palestine, which did not always contribute to his popularity as a politician; during the war he made attempts to help Jews in Nazi-occupied European countries, and after the war he supported the state of Israel. In addition, the author pays attention to Churchill’s friendship with individual Jewish cultural and scientific figures.
