“PENETRATION” is a modern mystery, or a novel written in a dream.

Logline: Lethargy is a little-studied phenomenon; doctors say the main cause is severe stress and escape from reality. Kira is unhappy, she feels superfluous in life, the world around her is cruel, and she is a typical victim. Small everyday tragedies lead to lethargic sleep. In a dream, Kira creates her own dream world, an odyssey through the looking glass of the subconscious, Da Vinci’s camera degli specchi, where two basic philosophical principles fight: “everyone is another and no one is himself” or everyone lives inside the camera and no matter how hard he tries to catch, capture, reflect life objectively, as it is, receives only its own reflection in the world, as in a mirror. Exactly what he is able to understand and accept. The seven billion inhabitants of planet Earth create seven billion worlds. Everyone wants to be a hero of a myth with destiny and a road, but he dissolves in the faceless crowd and loses his loved ones in it. But fantasy is not limitless, man is not a Demiurge, one cannot create an ever-expanding Universe. Kira's dreams are an interweaving of historical facts, myths and other people's thoughts, books read, films, life experiences. The world of dreams is finite, having drained herself to the bone, the heroine wakes up and must make a difficult choice between life and sleep.
