The genre of the novel is civil fiction, although if someone classifies it as a tougher political fiction, he will be right in his own way, since there is no clear line between these concepts. Moreover, the theme of the novel is connected with the Power we lost - the Great Soviet Union. However, if you are ready to read about politics, be prepared for the fact that you will not find it in the first book. It will be pure fantasy. Time will take you to the end of the eighties, when you could still dream about flights, space and, in general, about the future. The novel about the USSR somehow began by itself with an immersion in the atmosphere of the good traditions of Russian and Soviet science fiction. Politics (and quite serious ones) followed later.
