Continuation of my very old book The Engineer. I strongly recommend that before reading the fourth part you master the first three parts of the Engineer, because if you read right from the middle, a lot will become incomprehensible. And this way the spirit of the book will be fully preserved. Also, the position of the author of the book, and its fidelity is not clear if you do not read the beginning. This is an enlarged work of the fourth part of the engineer, about 800kb in size in Word. Setting time, second insect invasion, 230 years after the death of the emperor. Previously, this historical period of the “Engineer” series was described in a short story, now I decided to write a larger book on this, which describes in detail the defeat of people in the second war with insects. This book has everything, the heroism and stupidity of people, and most importantly, it describes their unpreparedness for the invasion of a powerful external enemy. The inability of democracy and the existing political system to defend itself in the face of a serious external threat. Especially if we are talking about a powerful and ruthless aggressor, such as insects, who does not know feelings, compassion, an aggressor who knows no mercy towards the loser. The lack of power that could protect people from the enemy, as well as black ingratitude, bordering on stupidity, towards the one who took the brunt of the first insect invasion and won the first great war. This book is a kind of punishment to people for what they did in the past, for the way they lived, for the lack of morals and ideals. And also a reason to think, what will happen if the one who can intervene dies, or simply does not intervene at the most important, decisive moment? What will happen to people, their loved ones and children if the one who was betrayed dies, or simply does not raise the sword in the hour of reckoning to fight for the people? Can society afford such luxury to mock those who saved his life? Can our society refuse with impunity the services of those who are able to protect it? After all, for such disgusting humanity will definitely be punished, and it will not even be the one whom they mocked that will punish people, but history itself, having trampled the entire race into dust.
