Good maneuverability, good armor protection and relatively powerful weapons allowed this tank to confidently resist Soviet tanks on the Eastern Front and British tanks in North Africa until 1943. But the age of the Panzer III had already been measured: the possibilities for modernization had been completely exhausted and there was no place for the “troika” in the ranks of German combat vehicles at the final stage of World War II...
