For almost half a century, Semyon Stepanovich Geichenko was the curator of the Pushkin Museum-Reserve in the Pskov region. A native of Old Peterhof, a soldier of the Fatherland, who returned from the front after being seriously wounded, he restored the estates in Mikhailovskoye, Trigorskoye and Petrovskoye from the ruins.
