Harry Harrison (1925–2012) was an American science fiction writer and editor. From his pen came many works, mostly humorous, which contain quite serious themes. This is a writer who needs no introduction! In the constellation of world fiction, he is truly a star of the first magnitude. The leitmotif of his books was a protest against the army, wars, authoritarianism, violence against dissidents and aggressive aspirations.
